Sharing good news

This morning I had an ultrasound scan to check if the chemo is doing its job. Good news it is. The tumour has shrunk considerably. I’m relieved and reassured. I have to feel sick to get better. That’s Cancer. I’m off to Barts tomorrow with lovely Sam hoping I get the all clear for chemo number 4. I had to laugh, my chemo consultant informed me this will be the strong stuff. I have to wonder what they call the stuff they’ve been giving me. Tee hee! I will of course keep you all updated.

I’ve had some great days out recently with my buddy R. Picnics at Kew, meandering amongst steam trains at Didcot and I’m super excited to be joining the awesome Caledonian Sleeper this Friday to enjoy a short break in glorious Fort William. R always knows how to keep my spirits up. Bless his heart.

I’ve spoken with the awesome Leia-Ann Woods today whose so busy with Sam arranging my benefit party. I’m lunching with lovely Carrie Wednesday week. I’m really looking forward to seeing her. Thank you my wonderful friends and you gentlemen.

Bottoms up!
